Trainee Coach Driver
Trainee Coach driver on Flexi agreement is required to join our team based at Luton Airport for immediate start, driving a Buses 9M small coaches 9M mini buses until 3rd year when can be insured to drive larger coaches and buses.
- 8 Weeks training cost = £7488 There will be a contractual bond applied to the training. i.e. if you leave it is repayable.
- From day 1 to day 365 100% repayable
- From the start of Year two to the end of year two 50% repayable
- From year three onwards contractual Bond null ad void
Our Flexi Coach Drivers are required for general Private Hires, Day Trips, schedule services, some Overnights, and the odd Tour work. The Flexi position is hourly based, and we try and build the Job around your personal commitments if possible. We guarantee 35 hours

- £13.00 per hour – During training and mentoring (around 8 weeks).
- £13.75 per hour – 6 months’ probation period.
- £15.00 per hour – after successful probation completion. Up to start of 3rd year
- £15.50 per hour – Sat and Sun after successful probation completion. Up to start of 3rd year
Currently Coach Drivers with 2 years plus experience.
- £16 per hour Mon to Friday Winter Rate
- £17 per hour Mon to Friday Summer Rate May – Aug
- £18 per Saturday and Sunday
- Task related Bonus Scheme £166.66 per month

- Flexi Package: Circa. £33,000 £39,000 per annum depending on hours worked.
Package Drivers normally 4 years plus Experience. You can progress through the ranks if this is of interest or stay on the flexi scheme.

Job Description:
You must hold a full car driving licence ( clean no points) for a minimum of 2 years, be at least 21years of Age;
Training carried out at a professional training centre, mentoring and assessment carried out in house, which will allow you to progress to an experienced Flexi Coach Driver.
As a Flexi Coach Driver, you are working in a service industry where tips are not unusual to benefit from gratuities, our drivers need to ensure we supply the standards the customer expects and go above and beyond with a smile on their face. Everyone remarks on a happy smiling friendly coach driver.
A Package Coach Driver will be required to have excellent customer service skills, great pre-planning skills, and a good knowledge of the home counties and London, coupled with a general knowledge of the UK and Europe. You will be required to perform a mixture of duties mainly private hire, day trips the odd overnights and tour, but some scheduled contract work will be required from time to time. You must take pride in your coach/bus. You must be eligible to apply for a DBS and a category D on your driving licence along with a current Driver CPC & Digi Tacho card.
